Noise barrier rental for construction sites, events and industrial projects across Europe
Noise barrier rental
Construction sites, industrial plants and outdoor events can be tough on the people next door. Our noise barrier rental gives you a flexible, temporary fix: barriers that mount on standard construction fencing, taller mobile walls, or complete enclosures.

We mainly supply projects in Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg. Delivery to Belgium, Czechia, Denmark, France, the Netherlands, Sweden, Finland and other European countries is available on request, depending on project logistics.
Estimate the theoretical effect
The default values describe a typical example. Replace them with measured values or manufacturer data whenever possible. All distances and heights are given in metres.
Rough estimate only – no warranty. The result does not replace a professional noise prediction or an acoustic assessment.

Everyday comparisons are only a rough guide. Perception and measured levels also depend on distance, duration and frequency spectrum.
Enter your values and start the calculation.
Calculation limits: The calculator assumes one idealised point source, level ground and the sound path over the top edge of the barrier. Sound travelling around the sides, gaps, reflections, wind, ground effects, multiple machines and the actual frequency spectrum can change the result considerably. Calculated diffraction attenuation over the top edge is capped at 20 dB because higher values are generally not reliably achievable with a single mobile noise barrier under real construction-site conditions. The laboratory sound reduction index Rw is not a guaranteed on-site noise reduction value. When the second barrier is enabled, the model applies distance- and frequency-dependent double diffraction and idealised sequential sound transmission through two identical barriers. Air-gap resonance and acoustic coupling are not modelled.
Where are noise barriers used – and where do we deliver?
Temporary noise barriers are standard practice wherever cities are dense and noise rules are strict. These are the European countries where hiring them is most common:
- Germany: strict noise regulations and a strong focus on environmental protection. Contractors hire barriers to stay compliant in urban areas.
- Austria: common in cities such as Vienna, Graz, Linz and Salzburg, where construction noise affects many residents.
- Netherlands: comprehensive noise policies, especially in densely populated areas.
- United Kingdom: widely used on construction projects, particularly in busy cities like London.
- France: regulations require contractors to reduce noise – hiring barriers is common in Paris, Marseille, Lyon and Strasbourg.
- Belgium: frequently used in growing cities such as Brussels and Antwerp.
- Switzerland: strict environmental and noise laws mean barriers are widespread, especially in Basel, Bern, Geneva and Zurich.
- Sweden: a strong focus on sustainability and public health includes tight noise control.
- Denmark: noise barriers are a regular sight on construction sites.
- Luxembourg: the Grand Duchy has strict noise regulations, especially in urban areas.
In all these countries, regulations and public demand for quieter cities have created established markets for hiring noise barriers.

Why our customers rent noise barriers
1. Flexible and customizable. Every site and every event is different. When you rent a noise barrier, you pick the option that fits – from standard sizes to barriers printed with your logo, pictures or advertising.

2. Cost-effective. Buying permanent barriers rarely pays off for short projects. Renting gets you high-quality sound protection without the long-term commitment. Our mats fit standard construction fences (2 m Ă— 3.5 m). We also rent white acoustic barriers in 2 m Ă— 2.5 m and 2 m Ă— 3 m.
3. Quick to install. Deadlines matter. Our barriers go up fast with cable ties, so your project stays on schedule. For larger or more complex projects, we also offer installation.

4. Quality that performs. Our barriers are made in the EU from durable materials that hold up in bad weather. Many cheap barriers simply reflect noise somewhere else. Ours actually absorb sound.
5. Helps you stay compliant. Local noise rules matter for events and construction alike. The right barriers help you meet them – and keep good relations with the neighbours.
Mobile noise barriers up to 6 m high
Sometimes 2 m isn’t enough – for example when a noise assessment calls for taller walls. That’s when our high mobile noise barriers in 4 m or 6 m come in. Sturdy support frames keep them safe, even in storms. You can rent the complete package, including setup and installation.
Mobile noise barriers for railway construction
Track work is loud, and it often happens right next to homes – sometimes at night. The simplest solution is a 2 m temporary construction fence fitted with sound-absorbing mats, attached with cable ties. It’s effective, flexible, and moves along the track with your crew. Complete enclosures for noise and dust control
For the toughest cases – say, demolition next to a hospital or school – we offer fully enclosed noise protection. It can cover the entire site if needed, keeping both noise and dust in.

Frequently asked questions
What noise protection solutions do you offer for construction sites?
Noise control mats for standard construction fences, tall mobile noise barriers, fully enclosed covers and custom site enclosures – so there’s an option for most projects.
How do high mobile barriers differ from standard ones?
High barriers (4 m or 6 m) are for cases where 2 m isn’t enough, such as demolition near hospitals or schools. The main challenge is stability: tall barriers catch a lot of wind, especially in storms.
Why would I need a fully enclosed cover?
For the most demanding sites near sensitive areas. An enclosure surrounds the whole site, keeping noise down and dust in – useful near clean rooms, for example.
Can enclosures be customized?
Yes. Tell us what your project needs and we’ll design a solution that fits.
Do you provide support frames for tall barriers?
Yes. For 4 m or 6 m barriers we supply sturdy support frames, so they stay safe even in storms. Where space is tight, self-supporting temporary barriers are also possible.
Who installs the barriers?
For larger or complex projects, the rental package can include professional setup and installation.
Can I rent for a short project?
Yes. We rent for short and long periods, matched to your construction project or event.
Can I buy the barriers instead?
For projects lasting a year or more, buying can make sense. If the barriers are still in good condition afterwards, we can make you an offer to buy them back.
What if I need more than the standard solutions?
Contact us. We also offer custom noise and dust covers – for example for renovating old buildings such as churches, for monuments, or for large sites like airports. We’ll look at your needs and suggest a tailored solution.
